I was sitting on the beach watching the boats come home in the late afternoon sun when I noticed one boat sitting by itself on the distant horizon. While the beach was teeming with fishermen bringing home the day’s catch, this lone sailor was off by himself in quiet reflection. I felt at one with him, he there on the water and me there on the beach while around us the day swirled by rapidly ending.
