Name: Palladian Facade
Date: Fall 2012
On my second day in Nepal, in my travel-weary state, I took off to go wander around the Boudha Stupa. This facade immediately captured my attention – it glowed a golden cast that drew me to it as I made my circles around the Stupa.
I can only imagine how I stood out in the crowd as I walked to it almost in a trance-like state absorbing all of the details. You see, I’ve been an incredible fan of classic architecture since my university days when I made the tough choice between studying architecture or interior design. It has the grace of a wise lady and shows the age of time with charm.
