Riding the ferry from Bali to Nusa Penida is a trip that can rob you of most of your day. Looking down from the top deck, I noticed the lone fisherman taking advantage of our trip across the ocean, a single line and hook bringing in the feast for the evening meal. While everyone else around him slept, smoke or chatted, he sat there determinedly waiting for that fish to bite.
