Driving under the sweeping arches of the trees approaching the Chateau gave me a sense of deja vu as though a piece of my soul had visited before. I peered through the gates and could envision the ghosts of horses and carriages of the past stopping in front of the big doors. A piece of history that, at its creation, never knew that an American girl would be standing there hundreds of years later dreaming of the days gone by.
